‘Wish Upon A Sparkle’ event

Glitter? Sparkles? Bling? My idea of heaven! Let me introduce to you the fabulous company ‘Wish Upon A Sparkle’. I was very fortunate to attend their event at the very exclusive private members club ‘On the 7th’ in Media City. Organised by Ledigo PR, it was sure to be full of glitz and glamour, fizz and celebrities. I could not wait!

I had previously met the ladies from ‘Wish Upon A Sparkle’ at another event I had attended, Vicky Pattison’s hair launch, so I knew how incredibly talented they were. Their services include face and body painting, glitter applications and face art. They add a unique, fun touch to any event, such as festivals, weddings, birthday parties and Hen nights. Who said only little ones could have fun with glitter?

I was accompanied the fabulous DJ Sarah Giggle, and we were treated to bubbles and cup cakes on arrival before being transformed into shimmering glitter bugs. Coronation Street star, Kym Marsh and her daughter also took part and looked amazing with their colour co-ordinating designs. Everyone got involved and it was ultimate glitter fest! Even the DJ couldn’t resist having his beard sparkly.

Other celebrities in attendance was Emmerdale star and Key 103 presenter, Gemma Atkinson, and model Sam Reece. Perfect picture opportunities to add to my collection! Guests were given goody bags with a sample of glitter to recreate the look at home, I’ll definitely be using mine again at every opportunity!

With everyone having a great time, the founders of the company took to the floor to thank everyone for attending and supporting them. We were shown a clip explaining how the company started and all the designs they have created. It was an honour to be part of their journey and I’m sure they will take the glitter world by storm with their creativity and passion for what they do. I wish them every success and all the best for 2017.
